Pennsburg, PA — Quilts and the Green Lane Reservoir are two very popular topics with visitors to the Heritage Center in Pennsburg. Now is the time to register for this fall’s programs on these topics as space is limited. On Sunday, September 28, local historian Tom Henry will discuss the houses and farms razed for the making of the Reservoir. The 2pm program is free, but registration is required by September 26 whether attending in-person or via Zoom. On Saturday, October 11, quilt expert Barb Garrett will share the history of quilt making in the U.S. through her collection of historical reproduction doll quilts. The two-hour program begins at 10am and costs $25 per person. Space is limited so reserve now. All reservations can be made at Schwenkfelder.org/calendar or by calling 215-679-3103.
