2025 Perkiomen Stream Clean-up: Sign-up Today to Be a Part of the Largest Single-Day Litter Clean-up in Pennsylvania! Schwenksville, PA – March 18th, 2025 – The Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy is gearing up once again to host their annual Perkiomen Stream Clean-up on Saturday, April 12th from 9 am – 12 pm, with a corporate volunteer day on Friday, April 11th. This event is the largest single-day stream clean-up in the state of Pennsylvania with over 1,800 volunteers already signed up to volunteer this year! The goal of this event is to remove as much litter as possible from local waterways, parks and open spaces, with assistance from volunteers. This initiative seeks to preserve and safeguard the land and water resources of our watershed while also engaging the community. The scope of the Clean-up reaches the entirety of the Perkiomen Creek Watershed and surrounding areas with over 200 different sites ranging from Quakertown to Norristown and beyond! We need your help to make the biggest impact on the health of our waterways this April! Clean-up sites can accommodate a variety of group sizes and ages so it’s easy to find a location that will work for you and / or your group! Have a pick-up truck or trailer? Volunteer to be a Trash Transfer Crew Member and take the trash that was collected during the Clean-up to dumpsters from 12 pm – 3 pm on Saturday, April 12th.
