Pottstown – Community Health & Dental Care, Inc. (CHDC) announces its Mobile Oral Health Unit is on the move - again! The CHDC Mobile Oral Health Unit is making its way from Pottstown to Barto to the Spring City Library, 245 Broad Street in Spring City Tuesday, September 28th through Friday, October 1st. Dental cleanings, school dental exams, fillings, and simple extractions will be offered by its caring and friendly staff. In 2019, CHDC received competitive funding from its Federal partner, Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), to purchase the mobile oral health unit. The unit was received in August 2020 and has developed this program to offer mobile dental services to the communities it serves. CHDC’s Mobile Oral Health Unit will be heading to the YWCA Tri-County Area Early Learning Center October 4th – 8th and the to Wonder Spring Daycare in Pottstown October 18th – 22nd. CHDC can offer the health care discount because we receive annual funding from our Federal partner, Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) since 2012 as a designated Federally Qualified Health Center.
